John Deere- Model 'G' Clock

Power farming increased the working capacity of farmers and led to increasingly larger farms. Larger farms, in turn, required larger tractors. Noting this trend, John Deere introduced the Model "G," the most powerful tractor manufactured until that time. The Model "G" was produced for 15 years from 1938-1953. It's power, combined with other John Deere Row-Crop Tractor features, made it popular with large-acreage cotton and corn growers, and with grain farmers who also grew acres of the more common row crops.
